Alpha Gamma Deltas living in the islands organized in 1936 as the Honolulu Alumnae Club and later became known as the Hawai'i Alumnae Club. When Delta Sigma Chapter was installed at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa in March of 1992, the Hawai'i Alumnae Club was also installed... as the Hawai'i Alumnae Chapter.

The Hawaii Alumnae
Chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta has received numerous awards recognizing the
hard work and efforts of its members, including the Helen Mae Clarahan Spiese
Alumnae Panhellenic Award (1993 Chicago Convention) and the Alumnae Chapter Achievement Award
(1997 Tarpon Springs Convention) - the Fraternity's top alumnae honor - for overall
excellence, outstanding support of
a
collegiate chapter, outstanding community service, and an outstanding Junior Circle.
Hawaii Alpha Gams take great pride in supporting their fraternity, their
collegiate chapter, their panhellenic, and their community.
